Julee Wilkes began her journey with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in 1983 after receiving her first acupuncture treatment. She found it to be extremely effective and surprisingly relaxing. Her transformational health journey had begun. Four decades later, she remains very enthusiastic about the transformative abilities of Chinese Medicine and very grateful for the opportunity to share this unique and powerful ancient medicine with others.
Julee graduated from Academy of Oriental Medicine of Austin (AOMA) earning a Masters degree in Oriental Medicine in 2000. She is a licensed acupuncturist by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners, and has been working as an acupuncturist for 24 years. Prior to this she obtained an associates degree in physical therapy, and is licensed under the Texas Physical Therapy Board as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She passionately enjoys ongoing education in both fields of study.
Julee believes the body has an innate ability to heal, especially when given the opportunity and appropriate tools to do so. Traditional Chinese Medicine provides tools capable of transforming body, mind, and spirit imbalances.
Her priority is to assist patients on their path to optimal wellness. She believes health is the most valuable asset we possess. Julee is committed to providing patients with the treatment, education, and tools needed to live their best life.
